In June 2008, Dan Burcaw left Apple after nearly four years to found Double Encore, one of the first dedicated iPhone development studios. Focused on bringing to market high-quality, innovative iPhone apps, Burcaw has assembled an exceptional team of experienced software developers, designers, and project managers ensuring that Double Encore can meet the evolving needs of Ad Agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and small and medium businesses.

Double Encore has shipped 19 app releases to the App Store in just 10 months, which equates to one app release every 16 days.

Our company grew out of our collective observations of great and not so great workplaces. We decided to take a stab at building the type of company that we've all dreamed of. Our company name is inspired by the way we feel about great music. In building a different type of culture, we wanted to constantly be reminded of the magical energy created when a band couldn't imagine being anywhere else so they just keep on playing.
