Dan Burcaw, Founder and CEO
Dan Burcaw leads Double Encore’s team and is responsible for the company’s strategic vision. Burcaw works closely with the leadership team to ensure excellence in product design and development. Prior to Double Encore, Burcaw saw first-hand the power of a strong corporate culture in his time as a manager at Apple, Inc., where he supported corporate operations for the Retail expansion. Burcaw also co-founded Terra Soft Solutions, Inc. (acquired by Fixstars). As Chief Technology Officer, Burcaw architected solutions for various US Government agencies including a multi-million dollar technology solution that was deployed across the US Navy submarine fleet.
Burcaw is also the co-founder of Push IO Inc., a mobile backend services provider. Burcaw earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Jay Graves, Chief Technology Officer
Jay Graves leads Double Encore’s technology and development process. He works in close collaboration with our clients and development team to ensure that Double Encore produces the highest quality applications. Jay has been instrumental in bringing efficiency to Double Encore’s development process by embracing a continuous improvement workflow. Jay has been developing software for companies around the globe for over 10 years. He has a strong background in web services and scalable backend architectures.
Lindsay Giachetti, Director, User Experience
Lindsay Giachetti leads Double Encore’s user experience efforts from initial concept to wireframe and design through product development. She works closely with Double Encore’s design, development, and project management teams to ensure consistency, creativity, and quality. Lindsay has a background in film production giving her a strong sense of creativity, interaction design, and process management. Prior to Double Encore, Giachetti was a Lead Genius at Apple, Inc. where she led an in-house technical support and repair team, streamlined operations and built a strong customer base.
Scott Talley, Project Management
Scott Talley has over 20 years experience delivering software applications. Scott’s experience with Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bell Labs) and IBM allows him to provide real world estimates on schedules and resource requirements. In addition, Scott’s knowledge of best in class Program Management processes allows Double Encore to provide world class project management for theirs customers. Since joining Double Encore, Scott has put a change control process in place, enhanced project monitoring and status reporting, and moved the team to an agile development philosophy. Scott also holds degrees in Political Science and Business Management from Chapman University in California.
