DENVER, Colorado – 2 December 2008 – Double Encore, a leading developer of high quality, innovative applications for Apple’s iPhone, today announced delivery of three applications to Edutainment Resources, Inc., the creator of the PencilBot™ series of innovative multimedia content on interactive DVDs for the language learning market.

Earlier this year, Double Encore and Edutainment Resources held a brainstorming, design, and strategy session in Denver to formulate PencilBot™ for iPhone. After completing an aggressive development and quality assurance timeline, the first three PencilBot™ apps will be available on the App Store this month following Apple approval.

The PencilBot™ applications cover themes including extreme sports and hip-hop culture, and feature five fun-filled activities in bite-sized, visually striking modules that leave students wanting more.

Many of the activities feature audio and video passages and for the first time include touchable interactive subtitles allowing learners to view key words, definitions, and examples and then pick up where they left off in the passage.”
