Brightkite is a location-based social network that makes it easy to meet people around the places you go. Brightkite asked Double Encore to develop a full-featured Brightkite client for iPhone. In October 2008, version 1.0 shipped to the App Store to the delight of Brightkite users worldwide. The application has received a tremendous amount of press and critical acclaim from users. Double Encore subquently developed version 1.1, a major enhancement.

The LiveRail iPhone AdManager Toolkit provides app developers the functionality needed to quickly and easily add video advertising to their applications. The toolkit provides example code and instructions that will give an app the ability to connect to LiveRail AdServer send targeting criteria, dynamically select, display and track video ads.

Double Encore built version 2.0 of the iPhone AdManager Toolkit for LiveRail which involved a major rewrite of the code base and delivered improved robustness and a variety of new features.

PencilBot is a series of innovative English as a Second Language (ESL) apps created by Edutainment Resources, Inc. (ERI) and brought to iPhone by Double Encore. The three PencilBot iPhone apps offer several iPhone platform firsts such as touchable interactive subtitles allowing learners to view key words, definitions, and examples and then pick up right where they left off in the passage.

Each PencilBot ESL iPhone app has a theme such as extreme sports or hip-hop culture, and features five fun-filled activities in bite-sized, visually striking modules incorporating audio, video, mini games and interactive subtitles - all there to help you improve your listening, reading, vocabulary, and conversational skills in English. Double Encore recently completed version 1.1 of the PencilBot ESL apps which feature a new vocabularly flash card mode.

PencilBot Test is a series of innovative, interactive iPhone applications for English as a Second Language (ESL) created by Edutainment Resources, Inc. (ERI) and brought to iPhone by Double Encore. The PencilBot Test apps feature 18 diverse, fun topics in a variety of formats, including conversations, interviews, lectures and news reports, offering extensive listening practice to prepare for the listening sections of important tests such as the TOEFL or TOEIC.

The PencilBot Test apps are available in 3 learner levels: green for high-beginning to intermediate English learners, blue for intermediate to low-advanced learners, and red for advanced learners. All 6 of the PencilBot series of apps were developed by Double Encore from a common architecture, allowing us to go to market with new apps in the series quickly.
